Mavrud

Grapes:
Mavrud (indigenous Bulgarian grape variety), from a selected vineyard in the region of Elenovo

Colour:
Intense red colour

Aroma:
Rich red fruit aroma, dry leaves, black chocolate and spices.

Taste:
Full bodied and well balanced; soft tannins.

Ageing:
12 months in botti (classic French oak barrels) and Bulgarian oak barrels (500 l capacity).

Serving suggestion:
Red meat dishes, pasta, hard yellow cheeses.
