Grapes:
100% Melnik, clone 55 (Indigenous Bulgarian grape variety, grown in the region of Elenovo).

Colour:
Ruby colour with brownish hues.

Aroma:
Interesting nose, with dried fruit, leather, dry leaves and mushroom nuances.

Taste:
Well balanced body with slightly grainy tannins, density and long aftertaste.

Ageing:
12 months in botti (classic French oak barrels with 5 tons capacity).

Serving suggestion:
A good match to game and lamb dishes.

Best serving temperature:
18° - 20° C.
