Another distinction: gold medal at Effervescents du Monde® 2008

EDOARDO MIROGLIO wine cellar was awarded a GOLD MEDAL for its EM BRUT ROSÉ 2006 (sparkling wine produced by the classic method) at the 6th international competition of the world’s best sparkling wines Effervescents du Monde®. The most prestigious sparkling wine competition in the world, organized by Forum Oenologie, was held on November 13-14 2008 in Dijon, France.
418 sparkling wines from 24 countries in the world were submitted for tasting and evaluation by the 75 member jury, composed of international champagne and sparkling wine experts. After 2 days of strenuous work, the jury awarded 139 medals in total, out of which 43 gold and 96 silver medals. The ambition of this unique international competition is best reflected in the founding motto of Effervescents du Monde®: “diversity, quality and high standards”.
The Gold Medal in France for EM Brut Rosé 2006 is yet another distinction, which EDOARDO MIROGLIO wine cellar has been awarded for its sparkling wines. The first one came in November 2007 in Singapore – GOLD MEDAL for EM Brut 2005 at WINE STYLE ASIA AWARDS 2007. It was followed by 2 SILVER MEDALS – at VINARIA 2008 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and at DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2008 in UK. The white EM Brut 2005 is the first sparkling wine produced by EDOARDO MIROGLIO wine cellar. Very soon on the market will be released EM Brut Rose 2006 (awarded in France), which will make a great addition to EM – the line of fine wines produced by the winery in Elenovo.
